Venus, the goddess of love, that is ME!  I am a one-year-old, petite (48 pounds) GSD.  I am house-trained, spayed, a cuddler, typical busybody wanting to learn everything and not miss out on whatever my family is doing.  I want an active family that will take me with them on adventures, obedience school, car rides and whatever is going on. I love squeeky toys and making them squeek loudly as I carry them around.  I chase balls and don't always return them.  I love to run full out and do everything very fast.  I love to sleep on the bed and couch putting my long nose in foster mom's lap.  I learn quickly, recently learning about a washer, dryer and folding laundry, great smells!



My previous family didn't have enough time for me and kept me crated too much.  Now, I am not crated since mess with anything for the few hours I was left home.  I am not a fan of a crate at all…probably because my previous people kept me there far too often.  I do not have leash manners, so obedience training is a must, and I would do well in agility with my speed and intelligence.  I would like to run with you too.  Since I am a puppy at heart, I am not aware of my body size and would easily knock small people down.



I tend to be alpha and will test boundaries with other dogs, but with the right family, this is an easy behavior to overcome.  I like to get after the resident Dachshund, so a home with small dogs may not be a good idea, and cats are probably questionable.
